Details: Product Description French rap artist. Amazon.ca After six years of training, a good part of which was spent with the underground group Rimeurs A Gages, the duo formed by Disiz La Peste (MC) and JM Dee (producer) hit it big in the year 2000. Propelled by the first single J'pète les plombs, a rap-style adaptation of the film Falling Down (starring Michael Douglas) that became a summer hit, here is a first album that is pleasantly varied, both in the themes addressed by Disiz (the delicate condition of being mixed-race, love, racism, faith, detractors, an homage to his African roots, teenage flirting in the suburbs, etc.) and in the soundscapes offered by JM Dee. Freshness and diversity are the watchwords of this lively Le Poisson rouge. --José Guerreiro
