Details: Product Description 28 ELECTRONIC LOUNGE INTERPRETATIONS. Amazon.ca With Private Lounge, Manchester native Nathan John has put together a refined and inspired selection. Even as a child, he dreamed of cross-breeding jazz (the music his father listened to) and house (he frequented the Haçienda in Manchester). But it was in Ibiza, while in contact with the master José Padilla, that Nathan caught a glimpse of all the subtleties of chill-out music. Now living in Paris, he has selected 28 tracks spread over two CDs. The first favors hushed atmospheres (Jaffa, Château Flight, Minty's Style, Zend Avesta, Amon Tobin...), while the second selection focuses on early-evening tempos (Beanfield, Kevin Yost, Solar Sides, Smith & Mighty...). This compilation perfectly combines a typically English sense of groove with the melodic sensibility specific to the French scene. --Karine Lacoste
