September 11, 2001, in a Montreal suburb. Pierre St-Roch (Sylvain Marcel), a sex offender released the day before, is barred from his home by his wife, to whom he proclaims his innocence. He must also face the silent judgment of his neighbors, who are aware of his legal troubles thanks to a list circulating illegally that identifies sex offenders living in the area. Finally, to add to his tragedy, three of the five listed predators have been murdered and mutilated by a deranged vigilante. Unaffected by what is unfolding in New York that day, Pierre drifts through the oppressive world of the suburbs, constantly bumping into these same neighbors, who are also indifferent to everything happening around them. By the evening of September 11, while President Bush asks God to bless America in its grief as well as its hatred, they will be at the point of accepting one another as they are. In short, they will be on the path to a new and strange friendship.

The DVD includes the original French version with the option for English subtitles and a "making of" documentary.
