Details: With his film Les Voleurs d'Enfance (The Childhood Thieves), Paul Arcand shone a spotlight on child abuse in Quebec. He is back with a new film: Québec sur Ordonnance (Quebec on Prescription). Why? Because Quebecers love pills. On average, they swallow 750 a year. Why do they take so many? Do they open their mouths to swallow a tablet without asking questions, without knowing why? Who is responsible for the dizzying rise in medication consumption? Québec sur Ordonnance will help us understand why there are patients who need pills and pills that need patients. Québec sur Ordonnance, a prescription for a sick society.
