It is therefore a huge surprise to discover this young woman (she was 28 at the time of the recording), rich in an oriental culture which also includes influences from rock and flamenco. So much so that her ballads, intimate and sensual, would almost make her pass for a new priestess of folk who would also express herself in Arabic.
