Details: "Sabot-de-Vénus, Eve Cournoyer's first album, is intended as an antidote to conformist, personality-free pop. Urban music, a bit chaotic, biting and authentic on both a musical and poetic level. Proof that with talent and patience, you can work little miracles." - Alexandre Vigneault, La Presse (December 28, 2002) "Delivered by a singer-songwriter of ferocious originality, Sabot-de-Vénus is a superb artisanal record. Crafted with a lot of love, great flashes of inspiration and quite a bit of effort. Touching." - Michel Defoy, Ici (2002 CD Guide)
