Anne-Marie Campbell and Simon Landry are the "power couple" behind the Secret Sun project. Clearly, it would have been desirable for these two cool people to have been your parents back in your rebellious teenage years. Between their morning peanut butter toast and their lunch croque-monsieur, the duo works together to create a seductive, hypnotic, and refreshing sound that belongs entirely to them.

In 2014, the Montreal-based act brought its music to life with the release of the album Cold Coast. Co-produced by François Lafontaine (Karkwa, Marie-Pierre Arthur, Klaus) and Sébastien Blais-Montpetit, a.k.a. Seb Ruban (Karkwa, Patrick Watson, DJ Champion, and Random Recipe), this electro dream-pop record left its mark on the collective imagination.

Secret Sun’s songs have found their way into living rooms around the world through popular television shows such as Pretty Little Liars, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Vampire Diaries. These tracks also inspired many talented beatmakers and local legends from all walks of life, such as CRi, Foxtrott, The Posterz, and Deebs, to remix the album.

In the two years following the album’s release, Secret Sun graced the stages of Canadian Music Week, MEG, Rifflandia, and the Ubisoft rooftop series as part of Pop Montréal, among others.
