Details: Product description Previously Enjoyed and Fully Guaranteed Amazon.ca After conquering the world of animation with Shrek and Shrek 2, Dreamworks studios tries to repeat the feat with Shark Tale, an aquatic fable about authenticity and courage. Even if his best friend Angie wouldn't change a bone in him, Oscar, a cute fish, has dreams of fame and fortune. Unfortunately, he is just an employee at the local whale wash. Until a little stroke of luck helps him take down Frankie, the son of Don Lino, boss of the terrible shark gang that rules the ocean. Fortunately, Frankie's brother, Lenny, the vegetarian shark, will know how to act as an intermediary. Following in the footsteps of Finding Nemo, although not as successful as the latter, Shark Tale can still count on the voices of Will Smith, Renée Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, and Ziggy Marley to bring this underwater world to life. But it is especially the very ironic vocal performances of Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese that delight. Surfing on a rather catchy hip-hop wave, the film also multiplies winks to Jaws or The Godfather to ensure the support of older audiences as well. As for the youngest, there is no doubt that the colorful and lively atmosphere of the cartoon, as well as its unambiguous moral colorings, will know how to catch them in their nets. – Helen Faradji.
