Details: Metallord has a long story in it's short history. The band started in the early 2000's as a noisy outfit in singer/ lead guitarist Marc Belanger's parent's base in Baie St-Paul, Quebec. The original line-up also featured AJ Belley on the drums. Inspired by their heroes from Metallica, Megadeth, Nirvana, Pantera, Slayer and hundred great bands, the pair played with several bandmates in bars, festivals and parties in Canada throughout the years. Metalord did the classical recipe: playing as a cover band first, then replaced covers with their own stuff. The band gained local recognition where they set stages on fire with the packed and metal friendly audiences in Canada.
