Details: Set in the dunes near the North Sea, a small circus company is suffering from a serious lack of audience for their shows. The main cause for concern is a pair of love triangles among the troupe, leading the desperate members to turn to magic and spells. Angèle, the diaphanous ballerina, her clown lover Elliot, and the circus ringmaster—full of cruelty and troubled by bouts of schizophrenia—on one side, and Zohra, who is in love with Elliot and haunted by an uncanny conscience, on the other. Secrets, jealousy, and envy will progressively take hold of them and trigger irreversible acts.
