Details: To celebrate his nineteenth album, Julien Clerc has decided to adapt 13 American standards composed by Ira and George Gerschwin, Irving Berlin or Cole Porter and immortalized by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday etc… - some of his friends, Maxime Le Forestier, Alain Souchon or David McNeil, offer him their words; others, such as Véronique Sanson or Carla Bruni, their voices. Thanks to jazzy arrangements – Django Reinhardt style – fine-tuned by the fine flower of jazzmen, from Jean-Luc Ponty to Philip Catherine, Julien Clerc avoids the nostalgic pitfall.
