Details: Amazon.ca It's ironic that the success of director Doug Liman's microbudgeted Swingers brought the sensibilities of the underground lounge music revival to a broader American audience; in many other countries, Frank, Dino, Sammy, Bobby Darin, and Count Basie have long been revered as cultural heroes. The retro-chic movement has always had one well-kept secret on its side--high musical quality--and this collection plays like an adventurous hipster anthology that's open-minded enough to invite George Jones, Roger Miller, and The Average White band to the party. Also includes standout tracks by modern jazz-swing revivalists Joey Altruda and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. --Jerry McCulley Product description Swingers ~ Soundtrack
