Entirely played with live instruments, with the exception of the track "Ce conseil," which includes beats and samples, Téri Moïse is co-produced by Etienne de Crécy, a sound engineer who would make a name for himself that same year, 1996, with his open-minded house music ("Super Discount"). Favoring hushed moods and dim lighting, these ten tracks (plus one hidden one) tell stories of lost love and existential doubt, but also the hope for an escape through imagination and writing ("Les poèmes de Michelle"), as well as the joy of giving life ("Je serai là").
