Details: Jean-Marc Faure (Daniel Auteuil) is a brilliant doctor married to Christine (Géraldine Pailhas), a charming woman with whom he has had two lovely children. Surrounded by friends he has known since his medical studies, he has a stellar professional career, frequently traveling to Switzerland, teaching at the University of Dijon, and conducting cardiology research for the WHO in Geneva. Life seems to be smiling upon him. Then, one day, Jean-Marc coldly murders his wife, his children, and his parents, and fails in his attempt to commit suicide. The investigation will reveal an unimaginable story. He never finished his medical studies. With no profession, he spent his days wandering on highways and in the WHO cafeteria, gathering information so he could continue lying in the evenings. He lived off money borrowed from relatives by claiming to make profitable investments for them. For eighteen years, Jean-Marc preferred to invent an existence for himself. His entire life was based on lies.
