Author: Zazie

Format: Enhanced

Release Date: 27-03-2007

Details: Thanks to her engaging and exuberant personality, and her original lyrics, Zazie is one of the leading female stars on the French music scene, having sold over 3 million albums and received every major award in France. On Totem, Zazie has produced a feistier rock sound, and in France, the response resulted in a Number 1 album. Now, the album is released in the UK, supported by a sold-out show at Shepherds Bush Empire, as well as the duet with Paolo Nutini, which is already getting spot plays on the radio. This album is representative of the new confidence that pervades French music as it crosses over into European markets, with the success of the likes of Vanessa Paradis, Air, and Daft Punk proving that French music can sell outside of France.
