Details: Amazon.ca Fourth release from an artist who we know shouldn't be afraid of haste... One of JJ Cale's most endearing albums, with producer Audie Ashworth, a loyal companion since the beginning. JJ Cale then opens a brand new studio that he has built in Tennessee. He called on vibraphonist Farrell Morris to expand his sound palette ("Super Blue", "Travelin' Light"). Another little-known aspect of his style, jazz, makes its debut in the small theater of the Electric Troubadour, with songs like "Hold On" or the more bluesy "You Got Me On So Bad". The care taken from now on in the choice of accompanists will become a constant, and men like David Briggs, pianist organist, or the duo Tim Drummond and Carl Radle become the natural accomplices of these moments of relaxation that the music of JJ Cale installs. He doesn't hesitate to use fuzz guitar ("Ride Me High") alongside Bill Purcell's cool piano ("You Got Me On So Bad"). Contains the global hit "Cocaine", often attributed to Clapton, but from the pen of Cale. --Jose Ruiz Product Description JJ Cale
