A stylist for a New York fashion magazine, Danielle puts up with her director's whims, but the day a colleague steals her idea and her boyfriend, Danielle can't help but give Vivian a piece of her mind and loses her job. Now banished from the fashion world, she returns to find comfort with her family and friends. She then falls for Adrian and decides at the same time to design her own clothing line. She creates a folk-inspired dress that is a huge hit with the workers at the textile factory, which is about to be closed by its English owner. Her goal remains New York Fashion Week, but it is not an easy target to reach.
