Details: The album is titled "Un coup de queue de vache". The stories I tell through the songs take place on a farm ("Un coup de queue de vache", "La cabane de mon cochon"), in the fields and the forest that surround it ("Tu n'as pas les oreillons", "Testament", "Les petits sabots"), by the sea ("Dans les rochers de Beg-an-Fry"), but also in the city, where nature has settled into sad and wild lives ("As-tu choisi?"), adventure ("Un lièvre"), and all instincts ("Big bang"), and then in the kisses a young woman receives from her lover with the fawn-colored neck ("Les petits sabots"), to close the loop. I am accompanied here by a string quartet into which an intruder has been introduced—also a stringed instrument, but one from the folk instrumentarium (mandolin, banjo, guitar). Thomas Fersen
