Details: Product Description Vénus 3 Amazon.ca Vénus 3's first studio experience gave birth to 12 spirited songs, a perfect blend of pop, rock, and ska. Often compared to the American group No Doubt due to their frontwoman, Vicky Martel, and their aesthetic choices, Vénus 3 nonetheless maintains a personal style. Their honest lyrics, dynamic arrangements, and uncommon energy have allowed the band to carve out a place of their own in Quebec pop, as evidenced by the hits "L'une va sans l'autre," "Paranoïa," and "Une belle journée." Each track on this self-titled disc makes relevant use of the sextet's resources: it's hard to ignore the work of the formidable rhythm section or the precise lines of the brass. And if the album lacks a bit of variety and relies almost exclusively on energetic pieces, you certainly won't be bored with Vénus 3! -- Nicolas Houle
