Recognized as one of the most talented saxophonists on the world stage, notably by the American jazz bible Down Beat, the composer and saxophonist Yannick Rieu has performed around the world where he reaps awards and accolades, both for his records and for his performances on stage.

Yannick Rieu proposes a return to its origins and its first influences based on an original repertoire which has its source in the "classic" Quartets in jazz, namely piano, double bass, drums and saxophone. Simple melodies from which the group improvises and develops these themes to make them more complex, to take them further. Speeches and dialogues intertwine here to lead to an overall sound and a unity which are the bases of this music called “jazz”.
