Details: Product Description For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden. Zero Dark Thirty reunites the Oscar®-winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal ( The Hurt Locker) for the story of history's greatest manhunt for the world's most dangerous man. Following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Maya, a CIA agent, is sent to Pakistan to track down Osama bin Laden. Working with specialized operatives who use torture, she is put on the trail of a messenger who allegedly works closely with the Al-Qaeda leader. When the messenger is presumed dead, the trail goes cold. Years later, new evidence suggests that Bin Laden is hiding in a fortress in Abbottabad, Pakistan, but before an attack can be organized, Maya must prove to her superiors that their target is truly there.
