Il revient en force en avril 2017 avec son premier album solo Beautiful Me. D’essence rock avec une touche de folk, les compositions sont viscérales. Elles présentent un Richard conscient, conscientisé et actuel. Jean-François Lemieux collabore avec Richard pour la réalisation de cet opus. Le projet a pris son envol grâce à une campagne de sociofinancement qui a levé plus de 25 000$ pour la production du projet, les fans attendent donc impatiemment la sortie de cet album le 7 avril prochain.
