Details: Montreal singer-songwriter JF Robitaille is currently recording his debut album for New York label Rhythmband Records. The is produced by Howard Billerman (Arcade Fire). J.F. has long been acknowledged as an extremely gifted song-writer in his Native Canada and has the privilege of opening up for such acts as Sean Lennon, Keane, Tegan & Sara. Descriptions are a tricky fit, with a rich simplicity - spare acoustic guitar and an almost whimsical, sentimental lyricism. This EP includes four songs from his upcoming debut album, a non-demo and a beautiful rendition of Leonard Cohen's Famous Blue Raincoat.
