Unfortunately, the burglars he had foiled before were in New York after being released from jail, and had plans to rob the biggest toyshop in New York on Christmas Eve. Kevin discovers their plan, and sets out to foil their plots again, while the burglars set out to finish off what they had not done before - the killing of the brat Kevin. Home Alone: Holiday Heist: 10-Year-Old Finn Baxter and his 16-Year-old sister Alexis are left alone by their parents in the new--well, actually very old and creepy--house that they have just moved into in Maine. Finn initially suspects the house is haunted by the bootlegger who was allegedly killed there years ago. He then realizes that the strange goings-on are not the work of ghosts, but art thieves--Sinclair, Jessica and Hewitt--who have come to steal a priceless Edvard Munch painting that belonged to the dead bootlegger. Thanks to Finn's experience with video gaming, his vivid imagination, and his online chats with fellow gamer Simon, Finn outwits the thieves, makes them think there's a ghost in the house, and saves the day.
