Soon after, he was at the label recording with a variety of leading artists including Bud Shank and the Jazz Crusader. This compilation (covering his first 2 years at the label) contains material with his own quartet, Gerald Wilson's Orchestra, Richard "Groove" Holmes, Les McCann and the Sounds of Synanon.
