Details: The dragon Smaug has awoken from his sleep beneath the Lonely Mountain and flies out to wreck his vengeance on Laketown. Bard the Bowman defeats the dragon, and all seems right in the world again. The dwarves have reclaimed their ancient home and all the riches within, but trouble still lurks on the horizon. Thorin has closed himself and his fellow dwarves up in the Mountain, and the humans of Laketown and the wood elves have come to claim their fair share of the recovered riches. The two armies lay siege to the mountain while Thorin’s kin marches to reinforce the dwarves.
